I am running for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Diane Crowther who I knew as a great friend and work colleague for over 12 years.  Diane was a beautiful person both inside and out and always put others before herself in many many different ways.   Unfortunately Diane passed away due to ovarian cancer in January 2013 at a very young 60 which devastated her family and friends.  I wanted to do something to help so decided to take on the half marathon and approached Diane's husband Roger with the idea to run for Macmillan Cancer Support because they are 98% funded by charitable donations and help so many people deal with this dreadful disease.  I am now in full training and hope you can support me with a donation.
