I had wanted to complete a triathlon for a long time and after doing a 10K run last year, I felt inspired!  I have been training hard, it has been difficult to fit in the cycling but now the lovely weather is here the cycling is coming along nicely.  I know it will be a real challenge to complete it, my aim is just to keep going and finish without stopping.  My event is on the 5th June.

I originally decided to take part in this event just a personal challenge, not needing to be motivated by charity but then people have been asking me about sponsorship so I thought 'why not!'.  Caring for Life is a charity I have been interested in for a long time, they have been able to do amazing things and make an incredible difference to needy people in Leeds.  The great thing is, they do what it says - they 'care for life', once they take care of you it will be forever!  The testimonies of those who have been cared for by CfL are fantastic, just take a look at their website and watch the videos and you will see what a fantastic charity it is.
