Calling all you romantics out there...

We are celebrating Valentine’s Day with a series of special underwater ‘love dives’. If you are a keen romantic and want to demonstrate the depth of your affections you will be able to enlist the help of our divers at Deep Sea World, Scotland’s national aquarium in February.

Visitors will be able to send romantic messages to their loved ones via special waterproof boards which divers will hold up in the aquarium’s giant Underwater Safari display. Messages will include a £10 voluntary contribution, with all money raised being donated to the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).

“We’re asking people to keep the messages short and sweet but we are hoping that it may encourage some people to literally take the plunge and pop the question underwater,”

According to Marie Claire magazine: ‘No place exudes romance more than an aquarium. Stroll through the hushed, darkened rooms, pointing out your favourite creatures, and he'll notice how beautiful you look, illuminated by the glow of fish tanks.’
