I am undertaking this trek to raise money and as importantly awareness of Huntington’s Disease, this is a genetic condition which affects the sufferer in a variety of ways, there nervous system and body starts to shut down and they can suffer from involuntary movements, inability to feed themselves or do anything for themselves.  There is no cure and treatment is only for the symptoms not the condition itself.  

 

My very good friend suffers from Huntington’s as many members of his family, his symptoms are constantly progressing but he still manages to go to work 4 days a week as this keeps him going, this keeps him active and he is always bright and cheerful despite knowing what is in store for him in the years to come.

 

 So please dig deep and donate now.
