THANK YOU! to everyone who helped far exceed my original goal of raising 800 GBP. I am incredibly grateful for all the generous donations. Special thanks go to Jackie and Deirdre for their work for the same charity, and the Dolly Parton Karaoke day in September which kickstarted my own fundraising, to Rachael for pushing me to create this page, to Dad for being my best PR agent, to Mum, Dad and Sis for walking into Santiago wtih me.

The walk from St Jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostela, Spain was a personal pilgrimage of just over 800km including a few ups and downs and backtracking to recuperate things I left behind now and again, and 4 incredible walks in the dark to make up for lost time as I stretched out my days photographing and sketching things i found interesting!

Dedicating my walk to family and friends, including several who have affected in some way by cancer I was encouraged not to give up along the way by the ever increasing donations made both on this page and offline.

Today I will visit the Lynda Jackson Macmillan centre to hand over the offline funds raised. Its not too late to contribute if you still wish to.

The Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre supports people affected by cancer. At the drop-in centre at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, people will find a friendly face, a listening ear and answers to their questions about cancer and its treatments. Services also include complementary therapies and counselling.
