Story

<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;Arial&amp;amp;quot;,&amp;amp;quot;sans-serif&amp;amp;quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">The Foundation is an amazing independent charity in Vietnam providing healthcare, education, physiotherapy, support and love&nbsp;to disabled children. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;Arial&amp;amp;quot;,&amp;amp;quot;sans-serif&amp;amp;quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Families in Vietnam have no support to help them care for their disabled children. The families are poor and need to work; their choices are few and none are what we would choose for our own children. Many are given up to orphanages; others are left to fend for themselves all day, sometimes tied to furniture for their own safety. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;Arial&amp;amp;quot;,&amp;amp;quot;sans-serif&amp;amp;quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Having started life working in a local orphanage, the Foundation is now getting to the root of the problem rather than tackling the symptoms. The latest project involves setting up a day care centre which is available free of charge. This is the first of its kind in the country. The children receive the education and healthcare that they need in a safe environment whilst the families go out to work. Most importantly, the children remain with their families.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;Arial&amp;amp;quot;,&amp;amp;quot;sans-serif&amp;amp;quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">I have been lucky enough to visit Vietnam and see first-hand the work the Foundation does. You really would not believe the conditions that the disabled children in orphanages are forced to live in, they are truly shocking. A few pounds mean that a family stays together. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;Arial&amp;amp;quot;,&amp;amp;quot;sans-serif&amp;amp;quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Thanks so much for your support</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;Arial&amp;amp;quot;,&amp;amp;quot;sans-serif&amp;amp;quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Della<br>XXX </span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
