A team made up of Tom Brown, Alex Woodhead, Tony Schofield and Jonny Holmes are taking part in the ‘Big Battlefield Bike Ride’ during May to raise funds for Help for Heroes, a charity we all support and have connections to. 

The ride itself requires us to cycle (no engines allowed) 70 to 90 miles per day for 5 days, travelling from Portsmouth, via Northern France’s infamous historical battlefields, to Dunkirk in time for the 70th anniversary of the evacuation.  We are each riding the whole distance (no relay), and would really welcome your support.   

Given how well you know us, you will realise that we need all the support (and padded shorts) we can get. As an added bonus we'll be posting photos on here periodically, so you will also get to see us endure the months of pain they call "training" and see just how bad middle aged men can look in lycra and dayglo cycling outfits
