Disability Sport NI is Northern Ireland's main disability sports charity working to improve the health and well being of people with disabilities through sport and active recreation.

Story

Deloitte Spinathon

Pedal for medals

We are delighted to invite you to take part in the Deloitte Spinathon. This is a team cycling challenge using static spinning bikes. Teams of up to four people will compete against each other, cycling for a combined team time of 60 minutes (15 minutes per team member), racing to cover the furthest distance. There will be some fantastic team, individual and spot prizes to be won, not to mention the all-important bragging rights!

In the year of the Paralympic Games, we’re raising money to support disabled athletes across Northern Ireland, from grassroots to gold medal winners, and change the perception of disability sport forever. To tie in with London 2012, we are asking teams to donate a minimum of £20.12 to enter the challenge, all of which will go to Disability Sports NI.

We will be joined on the day by some well known local faces, including Jim Eastwood from the BBC’s Apprentice!
