The Dementia Care Fund is one of many charitable funds administered by the Newcastle Hospitals NHS Charity, the official charity supporting the work of the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. 

We aim to make life better for people who have dementia (and their families and carers) when they are receiving care from any of the hospitals or community services provided by our Trust. 

Donations to our Dementia Care Fund enable us to create a more comfortable, friendly environment with enhanced activities and facilities to help keep the memories flowing for these patients, who might otherwise feel anxious and isolated in a more 'clinical', less individualised setting. 

Your donations help pay for art activities in day rooms, pictures, books, games, software, design improvements and 'dementia-friendly' signage and items to help us care more individually for these patients and put them at the heart of everything we do.
