My beautiful daughter has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has already had surgery and starts chemotherapy on 27th July. She knows her lovely hair will fall out so she’s shaving it off on 6th August. This way she maintains control, not the cancer. I couldn’t let her go bareheaded on her own so I’ve decided to have my head shaved at the same time too, and try to raise some money for a worthy cause. Also it might be less disturbing for my gorgeous granddaughters if grandma is bald as well as mummy. Of course, I won’t lose my eyebrows or eyelashes like she will and my hair will grow back (at least I hope it will lol) before hers.
