Land's End to John O'Groats Cycle ride - 5th to 15th May 2010

If I were reading this, seeing the enormity of the challenge facing these guys, I would be thinking I was glad I had kept my sanity and let these idiots take on the challenge - and gladly donate money to their worthy cause instead.

So what are they doing exactly, and why should I dig deep and give generously?

*      They're not spring chickens - the youngest is 50 for goodness sake.

*      Well it isn't a jog round the park, it's a 1,000 miles bike ride from one end of the nation to the other!

*      They will each be riding 100 miles every day day for 10 days!

*      At one pound a mile it'll only cost me £1,000

OK - so I would be delighted it if everyone sponsored me £1,000 - yet no matter how much or how little, every little helps - but bigger helps more!

So go on, - drink one less bottle of Bolly this year and send the money here instead. You'll feel really good about it because it's a great cause.
