Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in memory of our friend and colleague Dennis Rose who sadly lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 4th November 2009.  Dennis's funeral will be held in Bolton on Friday 13th November.

Dennis had amazing energy and drive and an overwhelming passion for his work.  Although he was with Elta for only a short time Dennis travelled to almost all corners of the Elta Group.  However, he didn’t just make an impression on our Group through his genuine warmth and personality, and a willingness to guide, direct and help others through his extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of car park and smoke ventilation, no, it was much more than this……………

Dennis made an enormous contribution to his field of industry worldwide over the last 35 years, and there are many people whose business lives he has touched during that time, and we, as they, are simply privileged to have known him and shared in his tremendous knowledge.

Chloe, Dennis's wife and his family have requested family flowers only and requested that if people wish to make donations they would like to support Macmillan Cancer support who were a tremendous help to them all during Dennis's illness. They would also like to thank Dr David Shukla of Eve Hill Medical Practice (Dudley), Ms Megan Page of Macmillan and the Holly Hall District Nurses for the excellent care and attention that Dennis received.
