3 peaks challenge · 5 July 2014

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Completed the challenge in 22rs 37 minutes. Time for a well earned chilled beer.... or two!

My cousin who lives in Canada was diagnosed with MS a couple of years ago. As a close family it is emotionally very hard to be unable to provide any physical support to him and his family when they need it the most.

(Taken from the MS Website)

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition which affects around 100,000 people in the UK.

Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20-40, but it can affect younger and older people too.

Roughly three times as many women have MS as men.

Symptoms might include fatigue, vision problems and difficulties with walking, but MS is different for everyone.

I am doing the Three Peaks Challenge to help raise funds for the MS Society which provides not only emotional support, health and social care and respite to sufferers but also ongoing research into this life debilitating condition.
