Once again, I will be donning oilskins and sou'wester to take part in the St Wilfrids Coastal Challenge. This gruelling race tests man and boat to their limits and I will shortly go into strict training, increasing my Wii Fit sessions to two/week and sampling the special dietary provisions of Becks and cheese and pickle rolls, which will sustain us for the four hours of this 12 mile voyage.
Shiver me timbers, please search your hearts (and purses) to support St Wilfrids and the wonderful work that it does. Pieces of eight and credit cards accepted.
