Dear Friends & Family,
As you may or may not know, we recently lost our cousin Dhiren to cancer. Throughout his illness,he was unbelievably brave, remained positive throughout and fought with great dignity, right to the end and we are sure that those of you who met him would definitely agree.
Dhiren spent his last few days at St. Lukes Hospice and we will remain eternally grateful for all the care and support that they have shown us. St. Lukes Hospice have helped us in so many ways. They have shown such kindness and the staff went and have gone beyond the call of duty.
As a family we wanted to raise money for St. Luke's Hospice in Dhiren's memory and we thought what better way to remember his courage than by doing a GLASS AND FIRE WALK - yup you got it - walking on broken glass and then hot burning coals! Are you guys crazy I hear you cry - yup I guess we are a little!
The event will be held at Claremont High Scool, Claremont Avenue, Kenton, HA3 0UH on Thursday 22nd September 2011 and we are aiming to collectively raise £10,000.
We would be so so grateful if you were able to sponsor us and would love it if you were able to come down on the night and support us. The evening promises to be a great night with fire displays, dhol players and lots of food and fun! If you fancy taking on the challenge of either the glass or fire walk or even both that would be absolutely fantastic! - just get in touch with us for further details.
Many thanks to all of you and we hope to see as many of you as possible on the night.
Nilpa, Deepa, Kavita, Hema & Anish X x
