On the 9th October 2011, I will be off on a 3 week trip to The Himalayas. I have decided to support GROW, a charity for the homeless, based in Watford. My aim is to raise much needed funds for their current project, which is to purchase a property in the Watford area, for the homeless. Their web address is :www.growhostel.org.uk
I will be trekking from Haridwar on the banks of the Ganges, up into the Mountains that skirt the flanks of the Nanda Devi sanctuary. We will trek through classic Himalayan landscapes to reach the Kuari Pass. I am looking forward to this exciting challenge and do hope that you can support me.
