I have walked from Hertfordshire House to Oxford,to raise awareness of Pancreatic Cancer Research.My Darling Husband David died of this terrible "silent killer" last year.I miss him a great deal ,but I felt he walked with me!I am proud to support this important charity.It has no obvious symptoms,,difficult to diagnose,and nigh on impossible to treat.By raising money for the research,others could have a future.I finished today,after 40 miles- at Christchurch College,where David Studied and was a place he loved.Just because I have done the walk,doesn't make the horror of this Cancer go away,with your help I will continue to try and help future patients.I am now in Cape Town.I will walk from Diep River,where David died,to Kalk Bay,where his Grandfather landed,by mistake,in about 1890 which I have now had to put on hold for the moment.All best wishes,Diana xxx
