I have been trying to get into the London Marathon for six years and finally I've been given a place and am delighted to be raising money for such a worthy cause.  My individual goal is to raise £2,000.00 but there is now a group of us from Lymington running the marathon, so we've joined forces!

Get Kids Going provides personal wheelchairs, trikes and other mobility aids for disabled children and young people to use at home, go to school, and become independent. It also supplies disabled children with sports wheelchairs so they can participate in marathons, athletics, rugby, tennis, skiing and the list goes on...

Just to give you an idea of the cost of such equipment:

£500 one-year sports grant

£800 child's trike

£3,000 sports wheelchair
