Thank you all for your support

ANOTHER UPDATE:

Believe me, much as I would like to, I am really not avoiding this challenge, but the event has been changed again!  Apparently the abseil would have got caught up with the arrival of a cruise liner in South Queensferry.  So, all being well, it will now take place on Sunday 6th June.  I feel obliged to carry on for all those of you who have already kindly supported me.  There is still time to donate to this worthy cause if you would like to do so.

Diana

UPDATE - Sadly this event has been cancelled, but in order not to disappoint all of you who have kindly supported me, I shall be transferring to a bigger and better venue in May - The Forth Bridge.  I hope you will all allow me to transfer your sponsorship money towards that event in aid of the same charity.

I am risking life and limb this Christmas in the Jingle Jump for Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland. I am jumping off Arthur's Seat with my daughter Clare. This is a first for me as I have never done any abseiling before, nor have I ever worn a Santa suit! I could be seen from the office windows ( top floor ) but it is on Saturday so fortunately no-one will be watching as I am not sanctioning overtime that weekend!  (Photos after the event may be available depending on your generosity.)  I have been persuaded into this madcap venture by a friend who works for this very worthwhile charity.  Your sponsorship would be much appreciated by Clare and me.
