<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>As you're probably already aware, Martin has needed a variety of liver related treatment over the last 4 and a half years.&nbsp; Much of that treatment has been recently developed - drugs and procedures that have only been available for the last few years, and without which he probably wouldn't still be around.</p> <p>This all needs research, which organisations like the British Liver Trust help to fund.&nbsp; They also provide information and support on coping with liver disease, and advise how to live your life protecting and making the most of the liver function you have left.</p> <p>Liver disease look set to affect many more people in the next few years - it's the one big disease that is on the increase in this country.&nbsp; The more money I can help to raise for the British Liver Trust now, the more likely it is that available treatments will become less gruelling in the future.</p> <p>Thanks for reading this - I hope you will help me raise funds that may help many others in the future.</p> <p>Diane</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
