Story
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you probably know I just love being different! When I saw this challenge in my Weight Watchers Magazine I thought it would be a good chance to raise money for a worthy Charity and get fit for the summer this year.
On the 21st August 2011 I will be cycling 26.2 miles, starting at Blenheim Palace and cycling around the beautiful Cotswolds.
I need to raise a least £250.00 to be allowed to do the Cycle, but my personal target is £350.00, and hoping for more.
Neil has started taking me out training and he is quite a task master, I haven't been allowed to get off at any hills even in a head wind!!
Breast Cancer Care is a Charity dedicated to people affected by Breast Cancer, giving support and information when needed. They provide Local Support for Hair Loss Advice, Lingerie Advice, local Information Sessions.
Although Breast Cancer normally affects those over 50 there are also a proportion of Younger women affected, BCC provide 'Younger Women Forums', Online Support and 'Information for Younger Women'.
BCC run completely Free Helpline with one to one support, telephone support groups, and support for Living with Secondary Breast Cancer which is most commonly found in the bone, lungs, liver and brain.
Like all cancer's it is a terrifying diagnosis, so I feel if I can help a little by putting myself through a bit of pain for the day, to make someone a bit more supported and comfortable it will be worth it.
So come on guys and girls, give us some of your lovely money. as much or as little as you can afford.
