After watching the London Marathon last April from the comfort of my sofa, I felt inspired by many of the runners' stories and decided to do my bit for charity before my knees need replacing!
I have chosen to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign as my cousin's son, Michael sadly died from this disease at the very young age of 15. It is also an opportunity to show my support and admiration for the Brown family who are an example to us all in the way they care for and support their son Matthew.
The London Marathon will be an enormous personal challenge for me. But your support will help me crawl out of bed on a winter's morning and pound the streets in preparation for the big day!
