Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you will know I went to Malaysia for a challenge last year and ended up lost in a jungle for 26 hours and thought the end was nigh!!! So having just about recovered from my injuries I have decided that I need to do something equally insane.
Seriously though this charity is wonderful. All the money I raise will go to buying children with disabilities equipment which is not available to them from the NHS. The money we all raised last year bought two Hertfordshire children adapted bicycles giving them the chance to play with their friends.
I do these challenges for a number of reasons, mainly in memory of a much wanted twin pregnancy which I sadly lost after several years of IVF, in their memory. Of course the other reason I do them is because I get bullied by Alison Kenny a former Sgt to me from West Midlands who insists I keep her company on these insane trips. My personal insanity also helps!!!
I know money is tight for all of us at the moment, but charities like this really make a difference to the lives of Hertfordshire children. I really hope you are able to help. I will be giving monthly updates about other activities I am going to be doing to raise money. I have been known to humiliate myself in a variety of ways.......
I also need to lose several bags of sugar to be fit enough to do this challenge so if you see me grabbing for the sweet jar, tell me off!!!
