On Sunday June 4th I am joining members of The GalaPail Riders and Border Belles cycle teams  to take part in the very hilly  87 mile route of Mull Sportive . This unique island-based sportive  combines scenic beauty with a challenging ride along miles of twisting single-track that circle the island, past the wildest, most beautiful coastline you will find on any ride in the UK.  I will also be joined by my very dear Canadian friend Theresa , who is coming to Scotland specifically to take part in this challenge .

I will be raising money for  Breast Cancer Now charity in honor of 2 of my riding buddies  both of whom  have within the last few years  successfully received treatment for this illness and for the daughter of a family friend whose journey  is ongoing .  

Any donation big or small will be very gratefully received and put to very good use by the charity funding cutting-edge research into the disease and  collaborating with the brightest researchers and foremost organisations from around the world.
