If you've found the page you will know why I set out to reaise money for this charity by 'doing' the marathon.

Unfortunately, while those reasons remain 100% valid, the timing has turned out to be very bad.  We have been advised that Chris has only a short time left to live so that being away in London enjoying myself on 25th April just isnt possible.

I have used the proper 'withdrawal' process so should be guaranteed a place for next year so I will be back
