Paul, Kris and Jamie from May 4th are giving themselves 12 days to complete 177mile walk from Chepstow in South Wales to Prestatyn. There will be no Hotel stops only wild camping through the beautiful Welsh landscape.

We have chosen to complete this walk for a charity close to us, for those who know Paul and Ellie this is where they got their crazy dog Bambi from and the ncar have been brilliant and are such a geat cause.

North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) is a registered charity founded in 1978 by  Anne Owen.  From one thin little Lurcher, they now care for over 1000 domestic pets a year. They have grown to meet these new demands and with the current economic situation these services are vital for the wider community.

There are a large number of unwanted, abused and abandoned animals in this region and although this is not a unique issue facing this area, we know that there would be a lot more pain and suffering subjected to animals if ncar ceased to exist. Their growth tells us that they play a vital part in the community and they also try to enlighten people of the effects of unwanted litters, as sadly there is an imbalance in the number of good homes and animals waiting to be adopted. They are almost constantly filled to capacity with residents.
