The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

We are all told that that cancer will affect one in three of us – a staggering statistic and one which became very real to us Greenings recently. As with everyone who has someone they love presented with this news, it is impossible not to feel totally helpless and pretty useless. Therefore us girls decided that we should do something.

Boys have Movember, but what was the girl equivalent? The prospect of growing a unibrow, pit, leg or other region hair was not a pleasant one and I am pretty sure no one wants to view progress of that kind. So we decided on our own equivalent - Do-cember. For the month of December we will be doing a different hairdo every day in order to raise money for charity.

We wanted to support the exceptional work of Macmillan, therefore please do follow our 'do's' at @docembergirls and give to this wonderful charity.

Huge thanks

The Do-cember girls
