The nurses in the Laurel Suite (where our daughter, sister, wife, mother and firend) Trudy, has all her cancer treatments. 

Trudy was diagnosed with cancer in the summer and it would have been a much darker time if it wasn't for the nurses in the Laurel Suite. 

The nurses on this unit are absolutely incredible. Each and every single one of them is so dedicated to their job and they would go above and beyond for any of their patients. Seeing them walk around a unit full of people with a similar battle, and making each of them smile is so humbling. They don't just carry out treatments, but they also offer support and are always there whenever needed. They create such a family atmosphere in the unit, and it was lovely to see them all at Trudy's wedding. 

For this reason, I ask you to donate whatever you can; to help out these nurses and make the laurel suite an even better place. Their job is not an easy one. They may be a small unit but their influence on peoples lives is one that can't be put into words. 

Throughout the year my family will be doing several fundraising activities in a bid to raise any money we can.
