I'm taking part in the 'Cycling Round the World Challenge' which is organised by Lloyds Banking Group to support it's Charity of the Year - Alzheimer's Society.  The concept of cycling around the world is that teams of 6 all over the UK will cycle together for 24 hours to cover the equivalent distance around the globe.

1 in 3 people over 65 will develop dementia - robbing them of their memories and lives.  Every year another 100,000 people develop the condition and there is no cure.  Many more 1,000's will find themselves caring for a family member will little training or support.  The money raised by this challenge will go directly to helping those people impacted by this condition.
