Dear all.

You may have heard that I was unavoidably detained in Barcelona on the 18th April due to volcanic ash! I therefore couldn't run in the Brighton Marathon as planned.

A good excuse to avoid running you might say however I've entered the Isle of Man Marathon instead on the 8th August. I'm still be running in aid of Cancer Research and would appreciate your support.

The Justgiving website is secure for your credit card donations but please be patient! From friend's experience last time it can occasionally be slow and, if you wish, I'm happy to take cash or cheques and upload the money myself on your behalf (though we do lose the gift aid in that instance). The benefit of you're uploading is that if you’re a UK taxpayer, an additional 25% is provided in Gift Aid (and this amounted to £600 last time!)
