The Mission To Seafarers cares for seafarers of all nationalities and creeds in some 230 ports around the world. It works through a network of chaplains, lay staff and volunteers who offer seafarers a welcome, friendship and practical and spiritual help.

My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our web page in memory of Dominic. We realise that there are so many people scattered all over the world who were not only work collegues but very dear friends. Many of them we as a family have met but there are so many more that we never had the pleasure of meeting.

Dominic was one of the most dedicated, hard working (brilliant) marine engineers. He was a kind warm hearted and generous person who cared deeply for his family and friends. If you ever had a problem, needed something fixing or a helping hand to sort things out he would always be there.

The family would be grateful for any donations to The Mission to Seafarers in memory of his name and we would love to hear your memories of Dominic too.

As a family we are trying hard to come to terms with his sudden death, but knowing that he had so many friends and that there are so many people who really cared and loved him, makes it all a little easier to bare.
