We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

Aston Shaw is trying to raise money for a great charity, EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices).  EACH provide support to families whose children suffer with life-threatening illnesses.  As father to a 5 year old girl I can imagine what its like for a family whose child suffers and that they need great support.  EACH plan on building a new hospice in the heart of Norfolk called the nook. The new hospice will be equipped with new facilities that will truly make a difference to children's lives.

I understand that you are more likely to raise funds when the challenge set involves pain on the part of the participant.  I recently realised that I have a slight issue with vertigo – what could be better to overcome this than jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet……..

24 Aston Shaw employees have agreed to undertake this challenge with me.

I’d really appreciate if you would consider donating to what is a great charity and helping me rid myself of my fear of heights in the process.
