Bath Half Marathon 2010 · 7 March 2010 ·

RUHX (formerly The Forever Friends Appeal) is the official NHS charity of the Royal United Hospitals Bath. We’re here to make our place healthier, happier and stronger for the future. And we do that by supporting the extra extraordinary work that leads to exceptional care for everyone.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, just a couple more buttons to click!

I was a (slightly)premature baby and apparently at risk of brain damage (don't say anything!), and it was the amazing care of the hospital which let me survive! Oh and also I'm a fat(ish) man running a marathon, before I entered I'd never run more than 800 meters as a race! So maybe turn up and place bets on how far I'll get before  dying!

I can't promise anything crazy if I get lots of money donated other than to run really quickly (possibly faster than Usain Bolt, he's not all that really), finish the race and do crazy legs at the end (if anyone remembers sports days), but please please donate what you can because every little helps! And us little people will one day take over the world!

Cheers guys and gals!

And just in case you were wondering:

Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now!
