Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2017 · 30 July 2017 ·

The DNRC will provide clinical rehabilitation for the armed forces and civilians. It will combine neurological, complex trauma and a full suite of rehabilitative facilities together on one site, bringing benefits that could make the establishment unique in the world.

Story

On 30 July I will be taking part in the Prudential RideLondon
100, riding 100 miles to raise money for The Defence and National
Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC).

The DNRC is being built to replace Headley Court in Surrey, which provides treatment and rehabilitation for army, navy and air force personnel dealing with injuries which, in many cases, would have been fatal even a decade ago.  Headley Court is a small site and, despite continuing investment, the ability to modernize it to the fullest degree will soon be limited.

BAE Systems has supported the DNRC since 2013 and has contributed £5m to date.  For this event I will be riding as part of a 49-strong BAE team and would really appreciate your support.
