Thanks for taking the time to visit our 'JustGiving' Behcets donation page. Behçet’s syndrome (now known as Behçet’s disease) is a chronic condition resulting from disturbances in the body’s immune system.

No-one knows for sure how many people in the UK suffer with Behçet’s disease but it's estimated that there are about 1 in 100,000 - that's roughly about 1000 people in in the UK and unfortunately....our mum is one of them.

To support her and raise awareness for the Behçet’s society, i'll be joining other likeminded fundraisers (supporting their loved ones) at thousands of feet in the air before jumping fearlessly (yeah right) back to earth, i'm sure it will be a walk in the park pffft!! We're aiming to hit £1000+

"After talking to my brother I am now going to be doing this with him! I am very scared of heights and I'm a very nervous passenger on planes!!! I have helped care for my mum since the age of seven, so donating to this charity is very close to my heart; my mum is fighting every day to remain positive even though at the moment there is no cure for her condition. Behcets is very rare complex and life-long condition caused by disturbances in the body's immune system, and not a lot of people know about it even in the medical profession!?!
