My story
Hi and welcome to my JustGiving page.
Many of you have supported me to run 5K before and I am really grateful for that. This year, being Olympic Year and Pegasus' 50th anniversary, 50 of us are doing the Blenheim Palace Triathlon to raise vital money for our projects with children.
Pegasus works closely with children and young people to help them to gain confidence through high quality arts related activities. The theatre offers life changing experiences to some of our most vulnerable children and young people and is an important part of our local youth provision. We really need your support.
I am not relishing the thought of swimming in the lake and I expect the 20K cycle ride that follows the swim to be hard work. And I don't even want to think about how my legs will feel by the time I get to the 5K run!!! Like jelly I imagine... It will be a challenge but isn't that the point? Raising money in the current economic climate IS a challenge.
So here's the deal: I take on the challenge of the triathlon and you show that you trust me to do it by making a donation. In this way, we are both helping Pegasus to survive and to ensure children who need it the most continue to benefit from what we do.
