In February 2010, we lost a close and dear friend Dominque. Her death devastated us all and it's still hard to believe. At her funeral a close family friend said that maybe Dom was sent here to challenge us... so that's exactly what we DID!
On September 17th, Lindsey, Laura, Rachel, Katey, Eleanor, Fern, Hannah, Pippa, & Jodie trekked for 29 long hard hours without resting covering 100km across the South Downs Way from Petersfield to Southease.
We experienced every single emotion, entertained ourselves with sparklers, bubbles, games and glow sticks and let off lanterns in Dom's memory to celebrate her birthday. None of us anticipated the pain we'd go through and the blisters we'd gain but it was an amazing experience and a remarkable way to honour Dominque.
All the money we have raised is going to Together, a charity that supports people suffering from mental illness who are closely associated with Dom's hospital, in the hope that they can help someone else avoid the same fate as Dom. We are amazed and moved by everyone's generosity - and it's not too late to show your support!

Thanks to everyone who came along to our event on 9th September - we raised an amazing £1330! And a huge huge thank you to our support team - we definetely would not have made it without every single one of you!
Thank you from all of us xxx
