Each year 450 UK children are diagnosed with brain cancer. Among these there is a tumour so aggressive that there is NO effective treatment or a CURE - Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma or DIPG. Responsible for 80% of all brain tumour death we raise vital research funds to give hope to DIPG families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

DIPG is not as rare as u think, it's just rarely talked about. It affects children and at the moment there is no cure, although progress in research is being made it's vital we raise both awareness and funds for this research to continue. In the mean time families affected by DIPG need support via charities like Abbie's Army.

Sadly most children die around 9 months after diagnosis, it's just an unimaginable situation for any parent.

Faith fought her battle for 26 months, she did so with dignity and courage surrounded by her supportive and loving family. Faith was just 7 years old.

We will be marking Faiths 8th birthday with this charity event in her memory. A tribute to Faith and her courage, her smile, her sparkle, her life.

Please support our abseil, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank u xxxx
