Donna and me spent two weeks in Kenya with Abigail Ministries in February 2011. Our fantastic team of 11 helped to decorate 12 houses at Shena's Village, Uplands, and spent time with local families and residents of the New Hope Children's Home. During the second week we helped to build new brick classrooms at Seed School in the Eldoret district of western Kenya. We also visited local families who are being sponsored by supporters of Abigail Ministries. In addition, Donna spent a day working in the maternity unit of the cash-strapped Plateau Hospital. All in all it was a life-changing experience we will never forget.
