In a moment of madness (or possible alcoholic intoxication!) I decided on the 1st of January 2018 to set myself a goal to achieve a life long ambition - to take part in a one day event run by British Eventing. Luna is only 5 years but she has such a keen attitude to her work and just loves jumping (scares the life out of me!) that I know with a lot of work to get us both ready this season, we can do it.

A friend suggested I sign up for the Wobbleberry challenge. Aimed at the "Middle aged - wimpy rider" (the cheek!) working towards their first event it also offers valuable support leading up to your event and fundraises for research into osteosarcoma after Hannah Francis, a talented young event rider lost her life to the disease in August 2016 at the age of 18.

I was aiming to attempt my challenge at Stratford Hills in June. However, we had an unusually dry start to Summer which stopped my training as the ground was too hard for jumping. I have therefore deferred my challenge to Munsted in September.
