Donna's 40 Mile Dartmoor Hike

40 Mile Dartmoor Hike · 11 May 2014
We are hiking 40 miles across Dartmoor to raise money for two very good causes
Our local Children's Hospice "Little Harbour" located in St Austell, Cornwall and the Derriford Children's Cancer Unit
Myself and 15 amazing ladies and three great guys will be spending our weekend hiking across the moors, in the hope of raising some money for these two great charities.
The hike is going to be over two days, we are setting off from the Plume Of Feathers early on Saturday hiking approx. 25 miles then stopping at the Plume Of Feathers at Princetown overnight, for some much needed rehydration, then finishing the remaining 15 miles on the Sunday and finally ending back at the Plume Of Feathers on Sunday evening. We have been training to do this event since January so hopefully we will all be ready for this!!
Please, please, pleaseeeee help us by donating what you can
Many thanks Donna
Any money raised for Little Harbour, will mean that families coping with round the clock care for a very sick child can relax, spend precious time with each other and have the support of people who really understand the pressures they are facing. Little Harbour quite simply changes the lives of all the family members and helps them to make the most of the time they have together.
