Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. I decided to walk from London to Brighton in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, as I am really impressed with the support that this charity gives to people diagnosed with cancer, which is the toughest challenge that some of us will ever face and one which no-one should go through alone. MacMillan Cancer Support is with sufferers every step of the way and, without charitable donations, they couldn't help people facing the toughest fight of their lives.
100km, 24 hours and 59 minutes, torrential rain, lots of mud, a bit of sunshine and some tears it has to be said (hysterical sobbing at the finish actually!)
But I did it and so far have raised £700 and still counting - still have some people to guilt trip into donating. I'll send them a photo of my feet, that should do the trick!
So thank you all so much for your generous donations. They really did keep me going during the dark hours of night, dragging the boots through muddy paths in the woods in the dark.
