Hi and thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Some of you may remember that in 2001 I decided to have my very long hair cut very short, and then demanded money from lots of you. Well I've decided to do it again, only this time I'm asking for donations/sponsorship in advance.

So on May 5th at 3pm, you'll find me at the hairdressers having my lovely locks cut off - but not shaved, I do have some dignity!  It looks like I'll be having between 15 and 20 inches cut off!  

So why am I doing this?  Well if you have reached this site, you are probably aware of my friend Steve 'Budgie' Burgess, who died in September 2005.  The care the team at the hospice gave Steve, his wife Jo and all their friends and family was exemplary so this will help to support them in their vital work.  It costs over £9m a year to keep the hospice going, of which only a third comes from the NHS, so they need all the support they can get.
