My story

We made it! Have a look on our video on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtYrjC8QcxU

Donnington Tor-Os is taking part on the St. James's Place Ten Tors Challenge this Sept.

You are probably thinking WHY?! 25 miles, two days hiking and camping in the Great British weather. Well, the answer is we can’t say no to a good cause!

Meet the Tor-Os Team:

Anthony Cox most recent work-out routine has been watching his little boys Joseph and Samuel when he is not overseeing the smoothly running of Donnington Valley Hotel and Spa as our General Manager. Thank God for his wife to look after the kids.

Caroline Trichet didn’t walk to England from France, but once this challenge is done, she will feel like she did. Being the Deputy General Manager, we expect her to be the first one back to base, ready to crack open the Chardonnay.

Daniel Buck does not only crack the numbers. Isabelle, his little daughter isn’t yet 12 months old to see her Super Dad navigating this team. If we ever can make our way back, Daniel might make it back in time for her wedding. We trust our Financial Manager (as if we had another option) to get back to the camp in time for supper.

Emma Jenkins is a peoples’ person. No doubt she will look after us, just as she does on her role as HR Director. Thinking outside the box is so her thing that she is thinking of taking a Winnebago!

Ines Feldon has travelled the Atlantic to be here, but nothing will feel further than this challenge! Spotting the great opportunities as Revenue Manager may feel like mountain climbing, this time she will be climbing to the top for real.

Jennifer Charlton-Yates probably does 25 miles a day walking up and down the corridors of our hotel in her role as Conference Manager. Most impressively, she is still up for the next 25 miles, come tomorrow.
