Mrs Tucker started as an Honorary Secretary with Independent Age (then RUKBA) in 1977 in Northern Ireland and retired in 1994, when she moved to Scotland.

To celebrate her forthcoming 100th Birthday she has generously asked for donations to Independent Age.
