Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I thought the hospital might say 'no' (I broke off, and dislocated, my head of femur in March) but have just been given the go-ahead. I'm off on another all women fundraising trek for the Journey of a Lifetime Trust in October. This time to the remote savannah and rainforest of Guyana, ending up at the Kaieteur Falls. We shall be trekking with local guides between the isolated Amerindian communities, one of the last frontiers of South America. This will probably be the most challenging yet as we shall be walking 15-20 miles a day in tropical heat (especially great challenge for me given the circumstances!).
