Story
Hi everyone,
This May I am going to be running the Bristol 10k in aid of a charity called "Love Running". Any of you who know me well will know that "love" is probably not the word I would use. In fact until recently I'd probably never been running voluntarily in my life so 10k is going to be a huge step up! So why am I doing it? Love Running is an amazing charity that aims to help the hungry, the oppressed and the needy. There are around 550 people running the 10k this year for Love Running and all the money that we raise will be split equally between these three causes - World Vision in Zimbabwe aiming to help those in desperate poverty, Stop the Traffik which helps to stop people trafficking, the second largest source of illegal income worldwide, and local homeless charities in Bristol. So this is why I'm doing it - if I can make an impact on just one persons life by doing this, if I could stop just one person from being trafficked into slavery or from living homeless on the streets, then I think it will all have been worth it. I need to raise a minimum of £120, but i want to raise more. So I've agreed that if I raise over £200 I will run it in a cow costume (see photo). You know you want to see that! If I can raise even more than that then I'll have to think of something else stupid that I can do (suggestions welcome as long as you sponsor me!). Anything that you can give would be greatly appreciated and would have a real impact on someones life. Thank you!

Update: Wow you guys have been so generous that I'm going to raise my target to £350! Whilst out on one of my first few runs, we actually ran past more than one person living homeless and begging on the streets, and it made me realise just how much your donations can actually change peoples lives! So please keep donating, it really will make a huge difference. Cheers!
Update: Thanks to your amazing generosity I've had to raise my target once more to £500!!! Seriously, this is so much more than I ever thought I would raise so thank you so much if you have donated. I've been trying to run as much as I can over the easter holidays, despite the weather, so thank you for making it worth it with your donations. Please keep donating if you haven't already, it really will change lives!
