Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. After the three peaks and a 14 mile walk with Ian Botham last year. The question was what this year? 2013 started unusually as I had a full right hip replacement on the 20th December 2012 due to bad osteoarthritis which explained how I was struggling with the walk last year (although it was of course completed)
We stay in a beautiful country and what better way to enjoy it than walking the West Highland Way over a week in the summer. 96 miles of stunning countryside all for a wonderful charity. Unfortunately I have lost a few good pals over the last few years to cancer and Leukaemia and as with 2012 our chosen charity is Leukaemia and Lymphoma research. We have been very fortunate to raise a substantial sum since we started fundraising in 2008 with the help and generosity of many people and further details are available at http://www.mccreafs.co.uk/charity.html
After my operation the walk will be slightly more of a challenge however I believe there is an excellent pub in Fort William!
