Okay, three peaks achieved but we are all in a world of pain now! Sore muscles, joints, tendons, limbs, sinews, you name - it hurts right now. Finished in a grand total of 22hrs and 59 mins, big thank you to Frodo for driving us and big thank you to all that sponsored us. If you haven't there is still time! Now off to the pub!

Okay, so I'm getting married... Time to do something to see me off in style. Some people go paintballing, some go-karting -not me. Me and my intrepid friends will attempt to conquer the three largest peaks in England, Scotland & Wales in one day (or as close to as possible).

Why on earth would I subject myself and my friends to this (well they used to be my friends). In all seriousness we are raising money for the Wakefield Hospice where my dad spent his last days before he passed away. Thanks to the Wakefield Hospice his last days were comfortable and they were very supportive to my family. If my dad were still here he would have been very supportive of what we are trying and may even have joined the challenge. This is therefore a fitting tribute and a challenge to raise some money.

Fear not, after the challenge we will be toasting our succes with some more traditional stag-do type activities (of which I probably won't know, and probably don't want to).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
