Thanks you for visiting the Downs Side Up Uncovered JustGiving page.

I am raising money for Down Syndrome International, The Down's Syndrome Association and The Cornwall Down's Syndrome Support Group.

I write an award-winning blog to gently change perceptions of Down's Syndrome from within hearts over at Downs Side Up. I also do public speaking, article writing, training for doctors, teachers and other professionals and our daughter Natty, 6, is a clothing model and ambassador with Down's Syndrome in her own right. 

The Naked Mum asked if I'd like to take part in a project to portray the naked truth behind the mummy bloggers, the real us, women, wives, friends, sisters, daughters all laying our feelings bare in our work.

I thought I'd take the opportunity to match this up with World Down Syndrome Day for which everyone is wearing Lots of Socks in clashing patterns to raise awareness.

So, a friend has been found to do the photographs, and I am currently collecting lots of funky socks to protect my modesty. I will be posing naked next week for a very tasteful, modest Calendar Girls style photo to raise awareness for our cause. I'm nervous, so please donate to make it worthwhile.
